No title

I've been having a lot of inspirations recently but I'm way too busy with my studies. School has been giving double and triple the homework so I will have to try to make time or maybe I just need to plan my timetable more properly.

God bless,

Let your tears flow like a river as you read this =')

A TEENAGER'S VIEW OF HEAVEN

17-year-old Brian Moore had only a short time to write something for a class. The subject was what Heaven was like. 'I wowed 'em,' he later told his father, Bruce. 'It's a killer. It's the bomb. It's the best thing I ever wrote..' It also was the last.

Brian Moore died May 27, 1997, the day after Memorial Day. He was driving home from a friend's house when his car went off Bulen-Pierce Road in Pickaway County and struck a utility pole. He emerged from the wreck unharmed but stepped on a downed power line and was electrocuted.

The Moores framed a copy of Brian's essay and hung it among the family portraits in the living room. 'I think God used him to make a point. I think we were meant to find it and make something out of it,' Mrs. Moore said of the essay. She and her husband want to share their son's vision of life after death. 'I'm happy for Brian. I know he's in heaven. I know I'll see him.'

Brian's Essay: The Room...

In that place between wakefulness and dreams, I found myself in the room. There were no distinguishing features except for the one wall covered with small index card files. They were like the ones in libraries that list titles by author or subject in alphabetical order. But these files, which stretched from floor to ceiling and seemingly endless in either direction, had very different headings. As I drew near the wall of files, the first to catch my attention was one that read 'Girls I have liked.' I opened it and began flipping through the cards. I quickly shut it, shocked to realize that I recognized the names written on each one. And then without being told, I knew exactly where I was.

This lifeless room with its small files was a crude catalog system for my life. Here were written the actions of my every moment, big and small, in a detail my memory couldn't match. A sense of wonder and curiosity, coupled with horror, stirred within me as I began randomly opening files and exploring their content. Some brought joy and sweet memories; others a sense of shame and regret so intense that I would look over my shoulder to see if anyone was watching.

A file named 'Friends' was next to one marked 'Friends I have betrayed.' The titles ranged from the mundane to the outright weird 'Books I Have Read,' 'Lies I Have Told,' 'Comfort I have Given,' 'Jokes I Have Laughed at.' Some were almost hilarious in their exactness: 'Things I've yelled at my brothers.' Others I couldn't laugh at: 'Things I Have Done in My Anger', 'Things I Have Muttered Under My Breath at My Parents.' I never ceased to be surprised by the contents.

Often there were many more cards than I expected. Sometimes fewer than I hoped. I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the life I had lived. Could it be possible that I had the time in my years to fill each of these thousands or even millions of cards? But each card confirmed this truth. Each was written in my own handwriting. Each signed with my signature.

When I pulled out the file marked 'TV Shows I have watched', I realized the files grew to contain their contents. The cards were packed tightly, and yet after two or three yards, I hadn't found the end of the file. I shut it, shamed, not so much by the quality of shows but more by the vast time I knew that file represented.

When I came to a file marked 'Lustful Thoughts,' I felt a chill run through my body. I pulled the file out only an inch, not willing to test its size and drew out a card. I shuddered at its detailed content.

I felt sick to think that such a moment had been recorded. An almost animal rage broke on me. One thought dominated my mind: No one must ever see these cards! No one must ever see this room! I have to destroy them!' In insane frenzy I yanked the file out. Its size didn't matter now. I had to empty it and burn the cards. But as I took it at one end and began pounding it on the floor, I could not dislodge a single card. I became desperate and pulled out a card, only to find it as strong as steel when I tried to tear it.

Defeated and utterly helpless, I returned the file to its slot. Leaning my forehead against the wall, I let out a long, self-pitying sigh.

And then I saw it.. The title bore 'People I Have Shared the Gospel With.' The handle was brighter than those around it, newer, almost unused. I pulled on its handle and a small box not more than three inches long fell into my hands. I could count the cards it contained on one hand.

And then the tears came. I began to weep. Sobs so deep that they hurt. They started in my stomach and shook through me. I fell on my knees and cried. I cried out of shame, from the overwhelming shame of it all. The rows of file shelves swirled in my tear-filled eyes. No one must ever, ever know of this room. I must lock it up and hide the key. But then as I pushed away the tears, I saw Him.

No, please not Him. Not here. Oh, anyone but Jesus. I watched helplessly as He began to open the files and read the cards. I couldn't bear to watch His response. And in the moments I could bring myself to look at His face, I saw a sorrow deeper than my own.

He seemed to intuitively go to the worst boxes. Why did He have to read every one? Finally He turned and looked at me from across the room. He looked at me with pity in His eyes. But this was a pity that didn't anger me. I dropped my head, covered my face with my hands and began to cry again. He walked over and put His arm around me. He could have said so many things. But He didn't say a word. He just cried with me.

Then He got up and walked back to the wall of files. Starting at one end of the room, He took out a file and, one by one, began to sign His name over mine on each card. 'No!' I shouted rushing to Him. All I could find to say was 'No, no,' as I pulled the card from Him. His name shouldn't be on these cards. But there it was, written in red so rich, so dark, so alive. The name of Jesus covered mine. It was written with His blood. He gently took the card back. He smiled a sad smile and began to sign the cards. I don't think I'll ever understand how He did it so quickly, but the next instant it seemed I heard Him close the last file and walk back to my side.

He placed His hand on my shoulder and said, 'It is finished.' I stood up, and He led me out of the room. There was no lock on its door. There were still cards to be written.

'For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.'-John 3:16.

Failed Purpose

When God created humans, he had a purpose for us. The only species with the ability to recognize His authority over the world, the only species created in his likeness, the only species with the ability to literally change the world. To change lives.

But if the world ends one day, and the whole global population were to face God, would he be pleased? Yea of course we've accepted his name but what if our every deed cultivates in destruction? Because I believe one's sin will be rebuked when we face the Lord.

If God were to spoke with the American president, I probably imagine something like this.

You believe in my name, you worship me in a church. But your greed drove you to monopolize global economy. Due to your greed in petroleum, you attacked nations in the middle east, wasted precious money that could be used to feed the poor. You've changed the lives of millions. You've killed millions, destroyed their homes, leaving them maimed, their hungry stomachs made even hungrier. You've changed their lives.

Nuclear which I created for good, to create sustainable energy for your country and the whole earth you've used it to change lives. The effects of World War II's atomic bombs are still present. So does Chernobyl. Radiation sickness killed people in their wombs, or worse they were born disabled. Not to mention the thousands killed, forced to leave their homes, way of living you've destroyed. You've changed their lives.

You let men sleep with men the way they're supposed to sleep with women. You made it legal, you made it right for them to sin against me, against themselves. You've made it okay for women to kill their own flesh and blood. You've changed the lives of the babies, the eternal souls in the human being destroyed.

And for all the beasts of the ground, the birds in the sky, every living being on earth you've changed their lives. You've destroyed their homes, you've cut them up while they're still alive. You think you are the only one with feelings. Even the beasts of the land feel too, they felt the pain and malice you've brought against them as clear as you do.

You've changed lives. But not the way I wanted it. I wanted you to change lives for the better. To show the ones out there a piece of my love. Show them that a savior above them is all they need. There is no need for war, greed, famine. Those in distress, those in hunger will be heard if they call upon my name.

But what have you done. You've called yourself a child of mine, my servant. Yet to the people you've waged war on, you turned them away from me because you represent me, your the epitome of the Christian culture.

HG Update - July 30th

Today a group of Iranian believers came to share their story. It was shocking because they had messed up in life and had no legal method of getting to know Jesus. And I thought my problems were bad. It's good to know that in times of great distress that Jesus can hope. When all hope is gone, The Lord remains. Nevertheless, even with Jesus it is still hard to conquer our addictions and exorcise our demons.

The Iranian brothers explaining the origin of the Iranian flag. According to them, it heavily draws from Muslim art and scripture...

Musa, the first to share told his story about how he suffered from alcoholism due to depression and being jobless. However, he started a new life when Christ came and spoke to him. A family friend(also a believer) helped lead him to Christ. His life changing experience with Jesus inspired and led his parents to Christ before their deaths.

Payam was interested in Christianity since he was a child. The lack of churches or Christian materials didn't hamper but instead deepened his desire to learn more. He finally accepted Christ during a trip to Turkey and is planning to return to Iran to spread the gospel.

Ramin used to be a drug addict since his teens. He had near death concussions and almost went mentally insane due to his consumption of different drugs with the drugs getting deadlier and deadlier ad the years passed. He even came to Malaysia for "higher class drugs". Nevertheless, he was approached by several brave minsters and one of them helped exorcised him from his demons by goading him to call upon the name of Jesus during a chaotic nightmare/demon possesion in which he felt being dragged to hell.

Guess what kids! Jeffery's back!!!

For those who think Ramin looks like German striker Mesut Ozil, you're forgiven. LOL

The world is full of people who need someone who understands

A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the pups and set about Nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard. As he was driving the last nail into the post, he Felt a tug on his overalls. He looked down into the Eyes of a little boy.
Mister,” he said, “I want to buy one of your puppies.”
“Well,” said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat off the back of his neck, “these puppies come from fine parents and cost a good deal of money.”

The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep into his pocket, he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the farmer. “I’ve got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to take a look?”

“Sure,” said the farmer.

And with that he let out a whistle,”Here,Dolly!” he called.

Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran Dolly followed by four little balls of fur. The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight.

As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse. Slowly another little ball appeared; this One noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward manner the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up….

“I want that one,” the little boy said, pointing to the runt.

The farmer knelt down at the boy’s side and said, “Son, you don’t want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would.”
With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers. In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself To a specially made shoe. Looking back up at the farmer, he said, “You see sir, I don’t run too well myself, and he will need Someone who understands.”

The world is full of people who need someone who understands. And that person is Jesus!!

Devil: The Liar

Dirty politicians will promise many things during campaigning but do nothing once they're in office. I've watched A Christian message just now that Satan's ways of tempting us is similar.

The story is logic and insightful yet not according to scripture.

The story goes...
A politician was ran by a truck. He died and went to the gates of heaven. Jesus looked at him and asked. Do you wanna go to heaven or hell. Unsurprisingly, the politician chose heaven. Jesus then said "We have rules down here, one must spend 24 hours in heaven, 24 hours in hell and then make his decision"(This is not according to scripture, once you are condemned your are shown no mercy). The man pleaded to Jesus but in the end gave in to the rules.

He went to heaven first. It was nothing like what he saw the angels playing their harps and clouds, sunshine everywhere. He was in a worship session in a huge church made of gold, everyone with hands held high or on their knees. Everyone around the church Then it was the preacher's sermon and that preacher was Jesus. His appearance was that as if he was fresh from the cross. His wrists and feet with puncture wounds, blood still pouring. The face of the Lord was scarred with deep wounds and gashes. Jesus wore a blood stained robe. Yet no one but the politician was deterred. Everyone but the politician bowed and kissed his feet.

Jesus blessed them. The politician was slightly disgusted at the sight of Jesus.

Then he went to hell. It wasn't like how he imagined it. The flames, screams. It was a pub. His favorite rock band was playing on stage. Girls with skimpy outfits were dancing all around. He was back in his younger days, all dressed up. All his friends were there. They were boozing, looking sharp. Then the devil walks in. He didn't have horns or a tail. He looked rather normal.

He came in with hot looking prostitutes. In a word, perfect and without a blemish. He said to the politicians and said "I heard God wants to give you a taste of hell?" and asked him what did he think? And the politician gleefully spoke about the food, the music, the booze. Satan said "These girls are yours for the remaining 18 hours, enjoy!". The politician and his friends committed adultery for the next 18 hours, without even feeling bored or tired.

Then he went back to the gates. Jesus, now on the throne without all the scars and punctures on his wrist and feet asked "My child, make your choice". The politician felt rather embarrassed but said "Jesus I never thought I would say this but I prefer hell". Jesus was troubled and pleaded him to reconsider but the politician was firm. Jesus finally let go "Suit yourself". The Lord commanded two angels to take him to hell.

When they descended from heaven, the angelic wings and white glittering robes faded and turned to dust. The angels became demons with skulls cackling and laughing at him.

The politician felt hot and could hear loud crumblings and started to tremble. He tried to sneak away from the demons but they caught him. They sneered at the politician. He pleaded on his knees to talk to Jesus and screamed "The Lord has authority over you, I command you to take me back to him". The demons looked at each other smiled and bellowed "Matthew 10:33 - Whoever disowns Me before men, I will disown him before My Father in heaven." and cackled.

In hell, the heat was unbearable, he tried to free himself from the grip of the two demons but his strength drained quickly. Hell was nothing like the pub, the prostitutes Satan offered him were shackled and were being raped by hordes of demons, the same friends he met at the pub were tortured and crucified upside down. Out of all the torture, the fire was the worst. Lucifer was there smiling cynically. The politician demanded an explanation. Satan now in his true form smiled.

Son, the booze, the hot girls in the pub was my campaign. You voted for me!

God has faith in us

Remember those moments where you are facing an addictive sin, something you've done your whole life. You thought you could overcome it many many times but fell into temptation anyway. Somehow, however impossibly you've dragged out your demons and exorcised them.

Einstein called it God playing dice and flipping coins with the devil over the soul and righteousness of man. Sadly, the world's smartest man was wrong.

It's because God has faith in us. He knows no matter how hard it is, we will prevail.

Do not think it is us who must have the faith. God's faith in us is easily stronger than our faith in him.

Pastor is at home and well

Thank God that pastor is now as fit as a fiddle. Thanks for everybody's prayers...

July 9 & 16 - BGR

Note: Due to the fact that some people reading this might be in relationships, this is a post that plays relationships according to the view of Christian doctrines. For those who are still interested, YE BE WARNED!

Introduction
- If we consider Jesus as Lord and God, we have surrendered our whole lives to him. Past, present, future. No buts, no maybes.

- Get a relationship only with marriage in your consideration. What's the use of saying I love you if when it comes to marriage you say "I don't know", "I don't think so", "I don't wanna be tied down". Therefore, if we are unsure whether or not we should marry he/she, it's best not to take the next step.

- A man has no right to tell a lady "I love you" unless he's ready to ask "Will you marry me". Relatives are excluded.

- To believe in God is to believe He is the perfect matchmaker. So it's best not to go fishing for love. Let it come to you.

- There's only one rule of a Christian marriage. It is between to Christians, one man and one woman.

- Hollywood romance films are as fiction as Star Wars

Premature relationships

Read the Star newspaper every Wednesday. There's a section where teens regardless of sex, race or religion share painful stories concerning their love life. To me this is the most boring part of the papers because it's all the same stories over and over again. Either,
- Confused if or if not they love that person.
- Break-ups.
This is solid proof that premature relationships are a pain in the butt. there might be exceptions, I don't know. Relationships are strictly for adults.

The cons
Leads to intimacy but necessarily commitment...
- This is call puppy love.
- For those who think love is meant to be fun, lovely and full of joy. You will be disappointed. The feelings, joy and fun are one half. The other half is strict responsibility and hard work. And no relationship can be perfect. Arguments are inevitable. When there's sunshine and rainbows, there's gonna be dark clouds and rain.
- Most if not all girls put their heart and soul into relationship. 100% commitment. It's harder for guys because we tend to let it go once in two years during the World Cup or Euro.
- Commitment is always long term, short term commitments are like pathetic broken promises.
- Waiting till one is ready for big commitments is wise. Don't let a kid play with fire.

Often ends up in the wrong side of physical relationship
- Like how can you not eat a nice piece of burger when you can touch, see and smell it.
- This leads to teenagers ending up in bed yet there are exceptions.

- Isolates couples from other relationships. Example, estranged from friends, families, etc.

Forms a distraction from other responsibilities like studies, hobbies, football and God.

The other way

- Build ourself up in the Lord. How can you take care of a girl if you can't take care of yourself, can't differentiate between right and wrong, watch porn, curse 100 times a day?

- Single years are a gift from God. Marriage is a lot of work. Men cannot expect the ladies to wash the dishes, clean baby poo, breastfeed, wash clothes, cook, clean while he still can go for drinks, watch football.

Tha aside, we have the old faces returned and a few new ones.

David Lin is back. And Sebastian, the new drummer.

Bonnie Chin is back from Russia!

Dangers of the wrong tunes: Part II of a Serious Issue - Why and How?

It has been widely believed that Lucifer before the fall had been the worship leader in heaven. In fact, his talent might be the one to fuel his pride.

The former worship leader is now using his talents to create in my opinion the scariest anti-Christian weapon of all. Not Satanic music and Black Metal alone but in general, all of Rock N Roll has the devil written all over it.

The reason why music is such an effective tool is that it reaches in deep into us. Sound is the most sensitive stimuli to a human being, more than sight, taste or smell. The memories of sound is also among the hardest to drive out or forget, second only to sight. Even Psychiatrists say that music has more power and influence over the mind that advices or lectures. So it's no wonder music has the uncanny power to make you fall in love, confess your sins, propose to your love ones, pour out and express feelings but also commit suicide, cut yourself and even kill and rape.

Heavy Metal in particular is synonymous with rage, pain and hatred. Some bands have references to paranoia, depression, rejection etc. Others especially Hard Rock bands like Rolling Stones, Guns N Roses, Jimi Hendrix are synonymous with drugs and booze. The deadliest of them all are those extreme metal genres like Speed Metal, Death Metal and of course Black Metal. These are the ones who have references to Devil worshippers, occult and human sacrifices.

If music preaches violence and death, then the people who listen to it are able to reject basic moral values and do the unimaginable. Case in point, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, culprits of the infamous Columbine High School Massacre are avid fans of satanic bands including Marilyn Manson while it was implied that Seung-Hui Cho, the man behind the Virginia Tech Massacre had references of Guns N Roses in his diary.

This shows us that music is capable of affection but also violence.

Music was originally created for worship but it's now becoming something else. As for Christian metal, I am in no position to comment.

Dangers of the wrong tunes - Part I of a Serious Issue

In the beginning God set the standards. Whatever is sinful, DO NOT TOUCH. Over the years things have changed.

Once it was TOUCH BUT DON'T TASTE.
Then it was TASTE BUT DON'T SWALLOW.

For more info, watch the shocking documentary "THEY SOLD THEIR SOULS FOR ROCK AND ROLL" available on YouTube. It might be the most disturbing thing you've ever seen but it would save your faith.

It was this type of mentality that made me feel it's ok to both be a Christian and to listen to hard rock and metal at the same time. Some pastors and all those abang-abang also said it was OK. They said it's ok to listen to such music as long as you don't get addicted. But no matter how much I keep my relationship with God equilibrium with secular rock music, I've always been addicted.

Not to criticize anyone but Jesus made it clear WE CAN NEVER SERVE TWO MASTERS. We will end up hating one and serving loyally to the other. But after watching the documentary, I've noticed that Heavy Metal is like a a prop to leave the door open for the devil and immediately giving him the dreaded foothold.

My faith has been turbulent yes. I've casted out violent movies but that didn't help much. It was clear to me that the music I listen to affected me the most.

The strange thing was when I swore not to listen to one such band, I'll always find another. And the bands I've listen to have got more and more evil. First there was mainstream bands like Linkin Park but I've later moved to more drug and rebellious music like Guns N Roses. The worse was the occultic bands like AC/DC and Black Sabbath.

During the time which I've listened to AC/DC and Black Sabbath, I recalled I was possessed once AT CHURCH. I've slowly left it, but it never left me.

I struck again, this time me and Jeffery stripped and destroy our Rock/Metal band t-shirts but as the years passed new ones replaced the once I've previously destroyed.

Metal can catch people by surprise. Music manipulated by Satan is the deadliest trap of all. Even those soft and melodic rock love ballads have subliminal meanings. Example, Stairway to Heaven has tabs on occult, sex and drugs while Hotel Calrifornia is about the Satanic Church and human worship.

So if you think it's OK to listen to metal and be a Christian at one time. I don't think so but I'm not in the position to judge. Of course I've known a good number of passionate believers who also listen to even Metallica. But results may vary, in my case it got the better of me. But BETTER BE SAFE THAN SORRY...

2 July - Sexuality

When the word SEX hits your head. We think dirty. The world has changed much but the idea of SEX = SIN has been around for millenniums. Don't believe me? Where did the word SODOMIZE come from. From Sodom, a sinful land described in the early Old Testaments.

Well that's not the way God sees it. He created sex as a means of intimacy, a very special way to express love. But only between one man and one woman who are married to each other. No but's, no if's and no exceptions.

Unfortunately the world doesn't see it that way. Because it feels good, they wanna have fun and end up tarnishing it. What comes of it?

Sure there is fun. But there is also HIV/AIDS, Syphilis and Hepatitis. Unwanted children, abortions, divorce, depression and of course suicide. What a hefty price to pay.

With the introduction of homosexualism, the world has practically turned away. I myself can't understand why men want to be women. Some say it's because the private parts look weird or something. Of course it's not as cool as Avatar, where their hairs have special strands to stimulate and bond each other. But it's actually a gift from God so to speak.

NOTE: The message was long but there's a lot I can't show because it's kinda sensitive and I don't want to go the wrong way.

25 June - Forgiveness Part II

While forgiving is important, there's a flipside to it. It's a time when we are fragile and emotionally drained with guilt. So what some people will do, mostly men is to take advantage.

In regular cases, they try to embarrass you. Like saying sorryx100 or bowing down and all that but what's more serious is that some men will actually take advantage of girls who ask for forgiveness. By asking them to have sex. Because this is so bad, it's acceptable to just break off and leave sexual misfits like these. Pastor even says "GIVE HIM THE MIDDLE FINGER!". Not sure if it meant it but it does imply how serious it is.

I don't know how women use this on men. Perhaps they ban their boyfriends/husbands from watching FIFA World Cup or Euro. Which is equally bad. LOL!

The bottomline is don't try to prove how sorry you are, even if told too.

And when we ask forgiveness, do it with depth, like you mean it. Just darting up, sating SORRY! and dart off is inappropriate. If possible, repeat the offense in case someone forgets it which is not really necessary because they probably never felt it. But of course, exceptions do happen more often than you think.

Forgiveness: More than Moving On

More than just moving on, forgiveness is one of the most effective ways to show love. How to keep loving others despite being wronged. Takes a lot of LOVE to do that. And Jesus showed the depth of His love by forgiving us.

God: Always Waiting

The first in the short message format....

When people have problems, they say God hates him/her or is simply void...

That applies to most humans, true. But not to God.

It's not true that God is never around when we need him. He is always there. The problem is WE are not near GOD when we need him the most.

New Format

Due to the difficulty to think and write a new article consistently and lack of time. I'm introducing a new format to HG's blog... Just simple quotes and bible passages will do...

Forgiveness

Due to the fact that I'm the only one left, I guess the burden is on me to revive the blog. Swt, I NEED VOLUNTEERS because I have more than enough problems already! Anyways, here we go again.

This is a practically a summary of what Pastor has been teaching the past month.

For most of my life, I never believed in forgiveness. Because I knew bad things happen to nice people, why bother. Be nice and eventually people will take advantage of your kindness and spit on you in return. It makes pretty much sense to everyone to remember everything and forgive nothing but one thing for certain is that being a believer of God makes no sense literally. Does it make sense to risk your life to preach to strangers? Does it make sense to die on a cross? The Christian life doesn't make sense because the world is the exact opposite of God.

Well maybe you won't get anything in return for forgiving others but well people GOD COMMANDS IT! like it or not. Jesus gave us unconditional love and we are to do the same for Him. Easier said than done because I personally have stumbled to the point of what I call "temporary backsliding".

The reason for all of this is that The Lord first forgave us. Jesus told the parable of a man who was just freed from a seven figure debt by his master upon pleading. But the man despite being removed from his debt killed a man who owed him a few hundred. Face it, we have hurt God everyday without realizing. It doesn't matter if the same bastards scorn us everyday, we still owe a life debt to God.

However there are circumstances in which the things that happen to us are too much to bear, circumstances in which GOD DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. It does make sense, it's just that we don't understand it. We can't, haven't and will never understand why God lets the good people die. Why good people who fight for justice and freedom die. Think Mahatma Gandhi who wanted to unite India, Abraham Lincoln who freed the slaves, John F. Kennedy who refused to invade Vietnam. All three of these men were killed in cold blood. THINK JESUS who died to save the world. No matter what the pain we face, it is clear that it is our duty, all of us, to forgive.

Taking it up to the person we have wronged is also a necessary step. Most people think it is easier just to walk away but in truth, past sins will always haunt us. We can attempt to run away from our past, but our past follows us like a shadow.

Confrontation is possible but it must be in a way in which no one gets offended which means no raising our voices, foul language etc.

Some people deal with offenses by striking back. Like they say the best defense is offense. But when I brought this up, Pastor said....

"How many people can you whack"

Sure, you can whack male friends, siblings but you can't whack most of the people you know. Guys who whack women have serious mental issues. But how many people can we whack. We can't whack the prime minister or president but some cases people succeed like JFK, Gandhi, Lincoln.

Although whacking may enable us to put things behind, it's not worth it. A guy who spends his time whacking people every time he is wrong will rot in jail. A guy who neither whacks nor forgives will have anger in his heart. And anger shortens life span. If laughter can cure cancer, anger actually causes cancer.

According to one psychologist, half of his patients would have no need of his services if they'd simply forgive.

but we must remember, forgive is not forget. Some conflicts are so deep that relationships remain strained forever.

Like it or not guys, forgiveness is the best medicine, second only to laughter perhaps.

When Will Help Come

Recently I haven't being posting articles because I've been plagued by spiritual troubles. All the guilt and all. My faith came back recently yet something bad happened today. Something that could force me give up the cross and walk away. But I've used this incident to come up with something. Make lemonade out of lemons.

I've experience a very turbulent spiritual life. It was as if the moment I accepted the Christ the world became my enemy. Much like Psalms 31: 10-13

My life is consumed by anguish
And my years by groaning;
my strength fails because of my affliction,
and my bones grow weak.
Because of all my enemies,
I am the utter contempt of my neighbors;
I am a dread to my friends—
Those who see me on the street flee from me.
I am forgotten by them as though I were dead;
I have become like broken pottery.
For I hear the slander of many;
There is terror on every side;
They conspire against me
And plot to take my life.

I've never enjoyed my social life outside of church. I've been mocked, laughed at, bullied, slandered and spat on(literally). These douche bags thought because I am a Christian, I was the one they could jerk off continuously. Like a dog.

Well what happened was an all too common scenario. I've had this feeling that I was ready to proudly say that I've lived a godly life without shame. Ready to carry out the cross. I've shedded most of the old addictive sins that weakened me before. As a matter of fact, I became overconfident that nothing could prevent me from falling.

Well, I was insulted really bad. As a usual response I laughed along. But soon I blacked out and did what I wasn't supposed to do. I've kept my mouth and my life clean for almost a month and now it all ended. All my hard work was laid to waste, blasted to rubbles and debris.

This wasn't the first time it happened. However, this was the one most difficult to bear. So I was very angry thinking that I've wasted my life on false hope.

But folks let us consider the facts. We are made to suffer, just like how the Lord was meant to die. Life on earth is not a holiday. It's actually a battlefield full of pain and suffering to test how worthy we are. To test our allegiance to God. It is always easy to say we love God when things are fine but when things start to go the way we don't want them, we just complain saying it's unfair and God doesn't care about me or we could just backslide and enjoy what little joy is left.

What makes it tougher is that in this specific battlefield, we are not allowed to fight back. If we do, we loose whatever the holy spirit gave us. We whack whoever messes with us, we insult when we are insulted. The Christian life is not about how hard we hit, but instead how much we can take. How to get whacked, hit or insulted yet keep moving forward.

Troubles are just like trials to determine the depth of our devotion. If we give up the cross at the first sight of trouble, it shows how shallow or devotion is. The one who endures the most wins. However, there are margin for errors. Perhaps God wants us to use these failures to learn how to prevent them again. That's why problems come in unexpected times and ways, so we can expect the unexpected.

If we fail, just get up and piece back the puzzle.

9th April 2010 - Formal Dress Week

After almost a decade of seeing the jeans/t-shirt format, pastor ordered us to switch to formal dressing which is very bizarre for most of us because most of us only wear them at weddings, grand dinners or funerals. But it was a fun sight to bestow. Nevertheless, three of us failed to adhere to the dressing code.

First, Pastor asked us to take a group photo but there was a catch. The boys were to get a chair, set it up and hold it as the girl sit. Many first timers here because none of us did this before.

Although the session had it's subtle share of light hearted moments, it was one of the most tense subjects touched. Discretion. We are thought to carry ourselves properly and to look out for sexual predators who act overly discreet and dump the girl/boy after they had their fill.

There was also the passage "I will not be mastered by anything". Basically means we must avoid being consumed/addicted/ mastered by anything of the world. Common examples include foul language, pornography, dirty jokes, violent movies(which I admit is kinda cool) or it could be anything. Indeed it is addictive and hard to let go but that doesn't make it okay for us to say it out. Be mastered only by God and you will be guaranteed of maximum discretion.

Pastor also chastised most of us by criticizing our foul language, regardless if it is spoken, typed or written. Which what gives people a bad name. How much of a difference can we make if we are no better than the people around us or if we're worse than them. Hard to swallow right, but it's the only way to do it.

Then there was dinner at McDonalds. Feels extra weird to be walking in all dressed up. Oh Gosh.

26th March!

Today HG'ians do our Cell group bible discussion! We shared about lesson and things applied in our lives in book of James 1-3! It's much different today that Pastor Koshy was not around.. SO, Aunt Dorcas took over the session!

We learned the lesson that , NEVER try to twist the word of God. At times, when we LOVE to do so much. Suddenly somebody forbid us from doing it because it's written in the Bible.. BUT, we denied it. Trying to fight back, just because we can't let it go, we can't take that fact. So, we still doing it and tried to find a "solution" so, we able to do it.

For example , Nowadays gays is very common. Even though God said He hates the sins of being gay but loves the person, but the gay communities still wanted to fight for their right to get marry and go to court and so on.. See?

So, it's better not to be stubborn and try to learn to let go.. :)

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS (PART 1)

How is everyone doing lately? Since this blog seems so “dead” I decided to write something which is relevant to all of us. As “big” as the title of this post may seem, the purpose of this post is to educate HG’ians about our rights when it comes to matters regarding the police force. We heard many cases of bogus policeman on the streets and were shocked by the unlawfully circulated video of a China citizen doing naked-squats that was recorded by a male policeman. All in all, when it comes to these issues, how many laymen know their right as enshrined in The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and The Federal Constitution (Perlembagaan Persekutuan) and other laws?

In a situation when u are stopped by a plain cloth policeman (polis berpakaian preman), u have every right to ask for his/her identification. If he/she fails to produce any, just walk away for he/she has no right to even stop you what more to ask any personal information from you. If a police authority card is produced, pay attention to its details;

If it’s RED in color- The police officer has been suspended, he has no authority to do any thing to you. Just walk away.

BLUE color- Rank of Inspector and above

YELLOW color- Below the rank of Inspector

WHITE color- Reserve police

If the policeman is in uniform, always take note of the number plate of the car and motorcycle and also take note about his name and i.d number on his uniform. This is for evidentiary purpose should you wanted to contest in court regarding any unlawful arrest or unlawful conduct by the arresting officer.

What must you answer then if you are questioned by the police in event you are stopped? What you do is only give your name, i.c. number and your address. If the police officer further asked questions, all you need to do is politely ask back; “Sir am I arrested/why are you stopping me?”. The reason is this, note this example;

A murder just occur near ESSO Batu Burok and the murderer just fled the scene. Lo and behold, Ps. Koshy jogs frequently near the crime scene everyday. Police arrived at the scene at stopped ps who was innocently near the murder scene.

After asking for i.d whatsoever;

Policeman: “Awak buat ape di sini? Awak tahu ada pembunuhan berlaku 1 jam lepas? Kenapa awak   berpeluh-peluh ni?”

Ps. Koshy: “Er tuan saya tak tau la,  saya jogging dan lalu tempat ini tadi sebab tu berpeluh”.

In this situation, Ps.Koshy is incriminating himself thus making him a suspect by the “Naïve” way he answered the question. So the best way is to ask whether you are arrested or not. If not then just walk away and have the right to refuse to follow the police man back to the police station or anywhere else if asked. You cannot be arrested if you are a potential witness. Should the police want to take a statement from you, they will make an informal request to you to give a statement in the police station. If the time and date is convenient for you, by all means corporate.

What if you are arrested? What do you then? Firstly, upon being arrested the police had to inform you your grounds of arrest, if not, the arrest will be unlawful this right is enshrined under Article 5(3) of the Federal Constitution. Then ask which police station will you be detained, for it is the police duty to bring you to the nearest police station. E.g. if Chester is arrested in K.T. then he cannot be detained in Besut Police Station.

When you are arrested, the police can only detain you up to 24 hours to assist investigation. The duty of the police is to complete investigation within 24 hours and to release you as soon as possible. If fail to do so, you must be produced before a magistrate should the police wants to extend your remand order. What are your rights then during detention? Under Section 28A of the Criminal Procedure Code, it is stated that before the police may commence any questioning or interrogation, he must inform you that you have the right to inform your guardian and relatives about your whereabouts and has the right for legal representation. i.e. you have the right tot make telephone calls. It’s advisable for a lawyer to be present during police questioning for they will assist you much in escaping criminal liability. If you are questioned without your lawyer present, you have the right tot remain silent as to no to incriminate yourself.

Well that’s all for part one, stay tuned for part 2 on the rights to welfare during your detention, body search, when is it lawful? And what do you do if you are beaten during detention.

Hey guys! Sorry for being inactive in this blog for so long! I had been to YMI and got some workshops to attend and it made me busy! So forgive me! :S

What happened last 12th March was, Pastor Koshy decided to change how His Generation going to be according to the situation. Now you know, His Generation got small number of members that around Kuala Terengganu.

So, Pastor Koshy recreate the cell groups! It just a small cell group which consisted two person in a group and sometimes three or four for special case for school leavers. And of course, it will be in boy-boy and girl-girl group. Reason for that is to allow the ease of sharing to other CG member without worrying and being shy shy. :)

We will read chapters from bible and discuss in the cell group.. And if there is something you might eager to share after got some "hit" from verses in the bible, you can share after the discussion to everybody.. Haha

29 January 2010 - FRIENDSHIP

A valuable lesson folks. The people we call friends are powerful double edged swords that can either devastate souls or build us up... When I say that, I mean when we think someone as an honest friend and later backstabs and rebukes us and turns into our greatest enemy, that's really hard to swallow. The same can happen is boy/girl relationships. On the other hand, a truthful friend or partner who sticks to us even after knowing our worse gives a truckload of comfort.

But we must never generalize that all sincere friends must be believer. Even those who aren't with God can be righteous in their own way. One prime example... MAHATMA GANDHI... And I've known some good friends who aren't believers as well as Christian "friends" who aren't up to snuff..

Verses of the Day...

Proverbs 25:19
A friend you can't trust in times of trouble is like having a toothache or a sore foot.
If friends are always like that. We are best rid of them. An excellent source of pain and emotional suffering. Unreliable people like this are best described as enemies rather than friends.

Proverbs 12:26
The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.
This represents the desire of our loyalty from both Jesus and Satan. The Devil tempts us with good feelings and satisfaction of greed but in truth only wants us to suffer in hell with him. Jesus offers love, truth and salvation in return for friendship. The same can be said when friends "befriend" us for money and men steal women in bed for one night and leave them devastated.

Proverbs 16:7
When we please the Lord, even our enemies become our friends
I find this hard to believe but any of the Lord's promises will be fulfilled. So far this hasn't happened before unfortunately but HEY, whatcha gonna do?

Proverbs 27:17
Just as iron sharpens iron, friends sharpen the minds of each other.
True friends will criticize and rebuke us. Just as Jesus rebuked his disciples on several occasions due to lack of faith and disobedience. Among friends, correcting each other makes each other wiser people.

His Generation 22 Jan 2010

Well, hello again! =)
Ever thought of drugs or cigarette? Haha, this week we had a guest speaker. Let me introduce to you a very special man. You'll surely amazed when i tell you bout this man but I'll talk about it later. His Generation started as usual with worship lead by me. Thanks every musicians and all the back up singers for helping me. Thanks to those who help me doing the Pa system. Thanks pastor for encouraging us(the musicians). As usual, we prayed for the nation of Iran and..Oh yea, I almost forget, we have a new member! Welcome to His Generation Melissa Chee!! (sry if i spelled your name wrongly) =p

Okay, back to the topic. Let me tell you all a story of this man that really touches my heart. His name is Richard or you can call him Pastor Richard. I'm just gonna cut the story short. So basically, before becoming a pastor, he had been taking drugs, living on the streets with other drug addicts, smoking and drinking around. He's a wise man, but ended up in such a mess life. Why is this happening to him? Its because he had been mixing with the wrong friends. He finally gets out from this deadly sin as he accepted the Lord.

After years of struggles. He finally won over his sin. His life was a mess, if he didn't take drugs, he would be a successful man. He messed up his life and yet he still can turn away from his sins, forget bout his past and go on with life. Now that amazed me the most. He never gave up despite of his bad history. He's now a pastor, a very nice and caring pastor. He's helping the drug addicts now, even the homeless and the ones having HIV. His testimony touched my heart, I could only imagine the pain he had suffered. Because he's willing to suffer and not to give up, he's now alive and free from the deadly bondage of drugs.

Here's a little advise for us from Ps. Richard. 1st advise, do not mixed with the wrong friends. Yeap, this is indeed important cause you'll have the feeling of peer pressure. If all your friends smoke, you'll start to smoke in order to join your friends. 2nd, Do not fall for drugs, if anyone offer you drugs or cigarette, just say NO! and run away from them. By the way, just for general knowledge, people that drinks alot, especially alcoholics has the tendency to fall for drugs or cigarettes at a higher rate.

Well, take his advice, keep it and remembering it always. Remember, drugs can only destroy your life. Stay away from it and never touch it. Say NO when someone offers you drugs or cigarettes. Drugs can destroy some parts of your brain, so some of the words that you read cant be pronounce properly. Your life will be depressed when you start abusing drugs. Don't ever fall for this sin. Trust me, you wont regret taking these advises.

So the conclusion is,

Say NO to drug abuse. Your life is precious, think for your future =)

His Generation 15 Jan 2010

Why i post this map? Cause last week, we're having a session about the nation of Iran. Yeap, Iran is an Islamic country. But we believe that with our prayers, this nation can still be saved. Why are we doing this? Its because the people of Iran is now searching for the truth. They are so open now because they want to find a real God. So pastor asked us as Christians to keep praying for this nation. Being a Christian in Malaysia isn't that difficult compare to Iran.

Well, Christians in Iran will be persecuted. Some will spent their lives in jail. Some will be killed. So we need to pray and ask God to help this nation and to set this nation free. Every week, we'll keep praying for this nation. We'll spent at least 15min of pray. We truly encourage every believers and every members of His Generation to uphold this nation unto the Lord.

Our beloved Rev. Koshy had encourage us to save our money to buy New Testament to sent to this nation. One book costs only RM17. If we keep sending these books to Iran, there'll be more to be saved. Cant you imagine one day, when you go to heaven. Someone suddenly came and tap your shoulder. He say, "Hey, thanks for buying the new testament for me. Because of you, I'm here". Do you want that to happen? Or someone comes to you and say, "Thanks for praying for the nation of Iran!".

Well, keep praying ok? Lets make a difference and invest on the things that can change people's life. Why not suffer awhile just to get a new testament for the people in Iran. Skip 2 Mac Donalds and you can get a new testament. One book can make a big difference in someone's life =)

His Generation updates (8th Jan 10)

Fuh, its been a long time since I updated this blog. Well, firstly I want to say sorry for those who waiting for the updates. Haha, I will keep this blog update ( this is my promise ) and i wont fail you all again. I've been hanging out with my friends almost everyday and find no time to update. So now's my chance to update =)

Well, for the 8th of Jan 2009 we started having His Generation meetings again. As usual, we have our worship lead by me (Willert). Haha, just wanna say thanks to all the musicians for helping me alot during the time of worship. Thanks June for playing the piano, Wei Lin on the bass, Witton and Kent on the guitar, Ivan on the drums and Michelle for back up singing.

Its good to be back on His Generation after the New Year countdown. Yeah, thank God that we're still in the pink of health. Thank God that everything had gone through well. Life's always good when God's presence is with us.

After the worship, we had our prayer time. We prayed for all the alumni of His Generation. Then we sang the song How Great Thou Art. Its an awesome hymn and the lyrics are so meaningful. I almost cried.

So, after prayer we settled down and ready for the sermon. Well, sermon's always good. Here's what we learn. Topic's about proverbs. A good book from the bible to learn because this gospel helps us to build our character and to change our lives. I'll just give a brief explain on this topic. Its mostly about gossip where people in this world are doing now. In the book of proverbs, it says, When arguing with your neighbor, don't betray another person's secret, Others may accuse you of gossip, and you will never regain your good reputation. Prov 25:9-10. Here it clearly state that gossips can only cause more problems and your reputation will be destroyed which means people will not trust you anymore. So we must keep our friends secret safe and secure.

Here's another verse that is meaningful, Like apples of gold in settings of silver, Is a word spoken in right circumstances. Prov 15:23. This verse is saying that words that is spoken at the right time is truly nice to be listened. Eg. if a person is sad and you give an encouragement, what do you think that sad person would feel? Of course he'll feel better and nice. So stop complaining cause these words can only make some situation worse.

Here's another one. Through patience a ruler can be persuaded. And a gentle tongue can break a bone. Prov 25:15. This verse is just awesome, a gentle tongue can break a bone means that gentle words or words of encouragement can really change a person. So, I encourage you all, fellow His Generation and other Christians to read on the book of Proverbs cause this book can change your life.

A Tribute To Mr.Kent =)

(Kent is the one wearing white clothes)

Dear Kent, we will always remember and pray for you. Thank you for serving at His Generation and AJPC. We will always love you and pray for you. Have fun at Australia and don't forget to spent time with God. Thanks a lot for playing the guitar, you're awesome dude =)

God wants us to share His love

Dearest brothers and sisters in Christ,

Bible clearly says that ''Blessed those who are persecuted!". Therefore, we just have to love and bless to those who had done evil or bad to us.

You might be thinking...''What?!?? Bless our enemy and love them...and forgive them??...Are you crazy?NO WAY!!'' But anyhow we as Christians still need to love them and forgive them of what they had done to our churches. Just like Jesus was hung on the cross and said ''Forgive them, Father 'cause they don't know what they are doing..""

Whatever had happened into the churches in our country(Malaysia), all we need to respond back is FORGIVENESS and LOVE.

Bible teaches the importance of FORGIVENESS and LOVE.

Bible does even teaches us that ''If you only love those who love you and do only good to those who are good to you, if we do that, then what good is that? the pagans(non-believers) do that all the time! Then, there is no difference we ourselves from the pagans(non-believers).. See God(Allah) is LOVE. God(Allah) sends rain to the righteous and the unrighteous too. Therefore, we need to repay and overcome evil with LOVE just like how Jesus love us.

Jesus says never pay an eye for an eye BUT he told us to LOVE one another.

I understand of how y'all feel about the churches being attacked and bomb-fired but I truly believe that these kind of persecution and attack is actually a wake up call for all the Christians to pray for Malaysia in unity once again. I deeply believe that persecution sparks up revival when we all pray for our country!

Friends, now is the time for us to wake up from our long slumber and make a difference. Now is the time where we all as Christians, gather as One and start praying for our nation. Now is the time where we start to get serious with God and ready to face persecution. Now is the time where we have to make the stand. To change the history of Malaysia, its the time for us to start praying and not sleeping just like the past.

Lets make a difference in our nation. Lets end this persecution with peace. Lets give every Glory to God and let God decide the future of this Nation. No matter what happen to us, all Glory goes to God.
