No title

I've been having a lot of inspirations recently but I'm way too busy with my studies. School has been giving double and triple the homework so I will have to try to make time or maybe I just need to plan my timetable more properly.

God bless,

Let your tears flow like a river as you read this =')

A TEENAGER'S VIEW OF HEAVEN

17-year-old Brian Moore had only a short time to write something for a class. The subject was what Heaven was like. 'I wowed 'em,' he later told his father, Bruce. 'It's a killer. It's the bomb. It's the best thing I ever wrote..' It also was the last.

Brian Moore died May 27, 1997, the day after Memorial Day. He was driving home from a friend's house when his car went off Bulen-Pierce Road in Pickaway County and struck a utility pole. He emerged from the wreck unharmed but stepped on a downed power line and was electrocuted.

The Moores framed a copy of Brian's essay and hung it among the family portraits in the living room. 'I think God used him to make a point. I think we were meant to find it and make something out of it,' Mrs. Moore said of the essay. She and her husband want to share their son's vision of life after death. 'I'm happy for Brian. I know he's in heaven. I know I'll see him.'

Brian's Essay: The Room...

In that place between wakefulness and dreams, I found myself in the room. There were no distinguishing features except for the one wall covered with small index card files. They were like the ones in libraries that list titles by author or subject in alphabetical order. But these files, which stretched from floor to ceiling and seemingly endless in either direction, had very different headings. As I drew near the wall of files, the first to catch my attention was one that read 'Girls I have liked.' I opened it and began flipping through the cards. I quickly shut it, shocked to realize that I recognized the names written on each one. And then without being told, I knew exactly where I was.

This lifeless room with its small files was a crude catalog system for my life. Here were written the actions of my every moment, big and small, in a detail my memory couldn't match. A sense of wonder and curiosity, coupled with horror, stirred within me as I began randomly opening files and exploring their content. Some brought joy and sweet memories; others a sense of shame and regret so intense that I would look over my shoulder to see if anyone was watching.

A file named 'Friends' was next to one marked 'Friends I have betrayed.' The titles ranged from the mundane to the outright weird 'Books I Have Read,' 'Lies I Have Told,' 'Comfort I have Given,' 'Jokes I Have Laughed at.' Some were almost hilarious in their exactness: 'Things I've yelled at my brothers.' Others I couldn't laugh at: 'Things I Have Done in My Anger', 'Things I Have Muttered Under My Breath at My Parents.' I never ceased to be surprised by the contents.

Often there were many more cards than I expected. Sometimes fewer than I hoped. I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the life I had lived. Could it be possible that I had the time in my years to fill each of these thousands or even millions of cards? But each card confirmed this truth. Each was written in my own handwriting. Each signed with my signature.

When I pulled out the file marked 'TV Shows I have watched', I realized the files grew to contain their contents. The cards were packed tightly, and yet after two or three yards, I hadn't found the end of the file. I shut it, shamed, not so much by the quality of shows but more by the vast time I knew that file represented.

When I came to a file marked 'Lustful Thoughts,' I felt a chill run through my body. I pulled the file out only an inch, not willing to test its size and drew out a card. I shuddered at its detailed content.

I felt sick to think that such a moment had been recorded. An almost animal rage broke on me. One thought dominated my mind: No one must ever see these cards! No one must ever see this room! I have to destroy them!' In insane frenzy I yanked the file out. Its size didn't matter now. I had to empty it and burn the cards. But as I took it at one end and began pounding it on the floor, I could not dislodge a single card. I became desperate and pulled out a card, only to find it as strong as steel when I tried to tear it.

Defeated and utterly helpless, I returned the file to its slot. Leaning my forehead against the wall, I let out a long, self-pitying sigh.

And then I saw it.. The title bore 'People I Have Shared the Gospel With.' The handle was brighter than those around it, newer, almost unused. I pulled on its handle and a small box not more than three inches long fell into my hands. I could count the cards it contained on one hand.

And then the tears came. I began to weep. Sobs so deep that they hurt. They started in my stomach and shook through me. I fell on my knees and cried. I cried out of shame, from the overwhelming shame of it all. The rows of file shelves swirled in my tear-filled eyes. No one must ever, ever know of this room. I must lock it up and hide the key. But then as I pushed away the tears, I saw Him.

No, please not Him. Not here. Oh, anyone but Jesus. I watched helplessly as He began to open the files and read the cards. I couldn't bear to watch His response. And in the moments I could bring myself to look at His face, I saw a sorrow deeper than my own.

He seemed to intuitively go to the worst boxes. Why did He have to read every one? Finally He turned and looked at me from across the room. He looked at me with pity in His eyes. But this was a pity that didn't anger me. I dropped my head, covered my face with my hands and began to cry again. He walked over and put His arm around me. He could have said so many things. But He didn't say a word. He just cried with me.

Then He got up and walked back to the wall of files. Starting at one end of the room, He took out a file and, one by one, began to sign His name over mine on each card. 'No!' I shouted rushing to Him. All I could find to say was 'No, no,' as I pulled the card from Him. His name shouldn't be on these cards. But there it was, written in red so rich, so dark, so alive. The name of Jesus covered mine. It was written with His blood. He gently took the card back. He smiled a sad smile and began to sign the cards. I don't think I'll ever understand how He did it so quickly, but the next instant it seemed I heard Him close the last file and walk back to my side.

He placed His hand on my shoulder and said, 'It is finished.' I stood up, and He led me out of the room. There was no lock on its door. There were still cards to be written.

'For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.'-John 3:16.

Failed Purpose

When God created humans, he had a purpose for us. The only species with the ability to recognize His authority over the world, the only species created in his likeness, the only species with the ability to literally change the world. To change lives.

But if the world ends one day, and the whole global population were to face God, would he be pleased? Yea of course we've accepted his name but what if our every deed cultivates in destruction? Because I believe one's sin will be rebuked when we face the Lord.

If God were to spoke with the American president, I probably imagine something like this.

You believe in my name, you worship me in a church. But your greed drove you to monopolize global economy. Due to your greed in petroleum, you attacked nations in the middle east, wasted precious money that could be used to feed the poor. You've changed the lives of millions. You've killed millions, destroyed their homes, leaving them maimed, their hungry stomachs made even hungrier. You've changed their lives.

Nuclear which I created for good, to create sustainable energy for your country and the whole earth you've used it to change lives. The effects of World War II's atomic bombs are still present. So does Chernobyl. Radiation sickness killed people in their wombs, or worse they were born disabled. Not to mention the thousands killed, forced to leave their homes, way of living you've destroyed. You've changed their lives.

You let men sleep with men the way they're supposed to sleep with women. You made it legal, you made it right for them to sin against me, against themselves. You've made it okay for women to kill their own flesh and blood. You've changed the lives of the babies, the eternal souls in the human being destroyed.

And for all the beasts of the ground, the birds in the sky, every living being on earth you've changed their lives. You've destroyed their homes, you've cut them up while they're still alive. You think you are the only one with feelings. Even the beasts of the land feel too, they felt the pain and malice you've brought against them as clear as you do.

You've changed lives. But not the way I wanted it. I wanted you to change lives for the better. To show the ones out there a piece of my love. Show them that a savior above them is all they need. There is no need for war, greed, famine. Those in distress, those in hunger will be heard if they call upon my name.

But what have you done. You've called yourself a child of mine, my servant. Yet to the people you've waged war on, you turned them away from me because you represent me, your the epitome of the Christian culture.

HG Update - July 30th

Today a group of Iranian believers came to share their story. It was shocking because they had messed up in life and had no legal method of getting to know Jesus. And I thought my problems were bad. It's good to know that in times of great distress that Jesus can hope. When all hope is gone, The Lord remains. Nevertheless, even with Jesus it is still hard to conquer our addictions and exorcise our demons.

The Iranian brothers explaining the origin of the Iranian flag. According to them, it heavily draws from Muslim art and scripture...

Musa, the first to share told his story about how he suffered from alcoholism due to depression and being jobless. However, he started a new life when Christ came and spoke to him. A family friend(also a believer) helped lead him to Christ. His life changing experience with Jesus inspired and led his parents to Christ before their deaths.

Payam was interested in Christianity since he was a child. The lack of churches or Christian materials didn't hamper but instead deepened his desire to learn more. He finally accepted Christ during a trip to Turkey and is planning to return to Iran to spread the gospel.

Ramin used to be a drug addict since his teens. He had near death concussions and almost went mentally insane due to his consumption of different drugs with the drugs getting deadlier and deadlier ad the years passed. He even came to Malaysia for "higher class drugs". Nevertheless, he was approached by several brave minsters and one of them helped exorcised him from his demons by goading him to call upon the name of Jesus during a chaotic nightmare/demon possesion in which he felt being dragged to hell.

Guess what kids! Jeffery's back!!!

For those who think Ramin looks like German striker Mesut Ozil, you're forgiven. LOL

The world is full of people who need someone who understands

A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the pups and set about Nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard. As he was driving the last nail into the post, he Felt a tug on his overalls. He looked down into the Eyes of a little boy.
Mister,” he said, “I want to buy one of your puppies.”
“Well,” said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat off the back of his neck, “these puppies come from fine parents and cost a good deal of money.”

The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep into his pocket, he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the farmer. “I’ve got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to take a look?”

“Sure,” said the farmer.

And with that he let out a whistle,”Here,Dolly!” he called.

Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran Dolly followed by four little balls of fur. The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight.

As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse. Slowly another little ball appeared; this One noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward manner the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up….

“I want that one,” the little boy said, pointing to the runt.

The farmer knelt down at the boy’s side and said, “Son, you don’t want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would.”
With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers. In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself To a specially made shoe. Looking back up at the farmer, he said, “You see sir, I don’t run too well myself, and he will need Someone who understands.”

The world is full of people who need someone who understands. And that person is Jesus!!

Devil: The Liar

Dirty politicians will promise many things during campaigning but do nothing once they're in office. I've watched A Christian message just now that Satan's ways of tempting us is similar.

The story is logic and insightful yet not according to scripture.

The story goes...
A politician was ran by a truck. He died and went to the gates of heaven. Jesus looked at him and asked. Do you wanna go to heaven or hell. Unsurprisingly, the politician chose heaven. Jesus then said "We have rules down here, one must spend 24 hours in heaven, 24 hours in hell and then make his decision"(This is not according to scripture, once you are condemned your are shown no mercy). The man pleaded to Jesus but in the end gave in to the rules.

He went to heaven first. It was nothing like what he saw the angels playing their harps and clouds, sunshine everywhere. He was in a worship session in a huge church made of gold, everyone with hands held high or on their knees. Everyone around the church Then it was the preacher's sermon and that preacher was Jesus. His appearance was that as if he was fresh from the cross. His wrists and feet with puncture wounds, blood still pouring. The face of the Lord was scarred with deep wounds and gashes. Jesus wore a blood stained robe. Yet no one but the politician was deterred. Everyone but the politician bowed and kissed his feet.

Jesus blessed them. The politician was slightly disgusted at the sight of Jesus.

Then he went to hell. It wasn't like how he imagined it. The flames, screams. It was a pub. His favorite rock band was playing on stage. Girls with skimpy outfits were dancing all around. He was back in his younger days, all dressed up. All his friends were there. They were boozing, looking sharp. Then the devil walks in. He didn't have horns or a tail. He looked rather normal.

He came in with hot looking prostitutes. In a word, perfect and without a blemish. He said to the politicians and said "I heard God wants to give you a taste of hell?" and asked him what did he think? And the politician gleefully spoke about the food, the music, the booze. Satan said "These girls are yours for the remaining 18 hours, enjoy!". The politician and his friends committed adultery for the next 18 hours, without even feeling bored or tired.

Then he went back to the gates. Jesus, now on the throne without all the scars and punctures on his wrist and feet asked "My child, make your choice". The politician felt rather embarrassed but said "Jesus I never thought I would say this but I prefer hell". Jesus was troubled and pleaded him to reconsider but the politician was firm. Jesus finally let go "Suit yourself". The Lord commanded two angels to take him to hell.

When they descended from heaven, the angelic wings and white glittering robes faded and turned to dust. The angels became demons with skulls cackling and laughing at him.

The politician felt hot and could hear loud crumblings and started to tremble. He tried to sneak away from the demons but they caught him. They sneered at the politician. He pleaded on his knees to talk to Jesus and screamed "The Lord has authority over you, I command you to take me back to him". The demons looked at each other smiled and bellowed "Matthew 10:33 - Whoever disowns Me before men, I will disown him before My Father in heaven." and cackled.

In hell, the heat was unbearable, he tried to free himself from the grip of the two demons but his strength drained quickly. Hell was nothing like the pub, the prostitutes Satan offered him were shackled and were being raped by hordes of demons, the same friends he met at the pub were tortured and crucified upside down. Out of all the torture, the fire was the worst. Lucifer was there smiling cynically. The politician demanded an explanation. Satan now in his true form smiled.

Son, the booze, the hot girls in the pub was my campaign. You voted for me!

God has faith in us

Remember those moments where you are facing an addictive sin, something you've done your whole life. You thought you could overcome it many many times but fell into temptation anyway. Somehow, however impossibly you've dragged out your demons and exorcised them.

Einstein called it God playing dice and flipping coins with the devil over the soul and righteousness of man. Sadly, the world's smartest man was wrong.

It's because God has faith in us. He knows no matter how hard it is, we will prevail.

Do not think it is us who must have the faith. God's faith in us is easily stronger than our faith in him.

Pastor is at home and well

Thank God that pastor is now as fit as a fiddle. Thanks for everybody's prayers...
