HiS G3NeRaTiOn 22th AuGuSt 2008

Hey! hrmmmm...how shalll i start this post....well its great being back to His Generation again since i wasn't around for two weeks...missed the clean up session, well again i have to say, you guys did extremely well...THANK YOU again...

This week, we had our brother willert to lead us in worship...Songs are My God, The Heart of Worship, Consuming Fire and Hosanna...

Well , this week, since it's still during the school holidays, not much people turn up, so Ps. Koshy decided to delay the continuation of the DNA...This week, we heard a extremely good and interesting sermon from Ps. Koshy.
The first thing Ps. Koshy asked was "Do you know what these flags hanged here?" refering to the flags of Malaysia, Terengganu, Turkey and Cambodia.
The answer was, now we are praying for each of it. So , each of the place we will pray for, their flag will be hanged. Sounds great? Look down.

In Mark 11: 17, And as he taught them, he said, "Is it not written: "My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations"
It is very clear that message that Jesus is trying to tell us, that His house will pray for each and every parts of nations. But, where is Jesus's house? Most people get this wrong...some say churches and some say everywhere. The house of the Lord is in US!!! Not US as United States ok! US as in us... XD...
For me (CK) , churches are "secondary" house where it brings everyone together and combined into a bigger house.

We are the house of the Lord as he dwells in us... so relating 'my house' and 'house of prayers for all nations' You got the message? It simply means we need to pray for people all around the world... not only the people around us or the people whom we love but people of all nations...

Well i'm pretty sure i made it clear enough...So in order to be the 'house of prayer for all nations' it is very very very very very important...wait add another very....very important for us to know the geography of the world...

Sadly to say this but, most of us...maybe all of us do not know much about the world's geography... including me.... Ps.Koshy was so lucky that he has the chance to learn the world's geography when he was young. Last time, the education system was different than now.

I'm not saying that all of us need to take geography degree as our major course or study detaily of all the places on this earth so that we can be the house of prayers...Not at all...XD hahaha...Just knowing where is the country located on this earth is good enough... Places like Zimbawe (dunno whether i spell it correctly > see, get my point) , Christmas Island, or country like Turkey are not known where they are...

How are we going to pray for them if we do not know where those country are... If you know, praise God! So, enough of lecture XD, the point is, do not take this lightly...So boys and girls, uncle aunties...Do look into this seriously :)

Besides that, another thing that we really need to look into is, the happenings around the world...Everyday, tragic events happen around this ground that we stand called earth... Again, how are we going to pray for the nations if we do not know what is happening... Well, lets not take it so far off, take our country for example... Many people do not know what is the current situation in our country...Thus, how can we pray for our country?

Things like political issues, economy state, people's tragedy...This things are things that we should know in order to pray for the nations, for our nation...So better keep RM1.20 a day for newspapers :)

Well i think thats most of what was said by Ps.Koshy...
As a closing.... hmmm... lost my words again -.-
So, i hope that what was said will change people's view on prayer.... Now, for next week, Ps. Koshy will be continuing on the DNA topic again...For those who do not know about DNA, you can refer to the previous post. I will be worship leading next week, and we a proud to have our brother witter back again next week, who will be serving as drummer :)
Thats all i guess...Jeffery will be posting this week's picture of the week in a short while...
Chaoz....
