Well..today..We started around 4.00 to 6.30. Yeah, I worship lead today. Thanks to all the musicians especially Jeffery, June, n Witter for helping me. After worshipping the Lord..we prayed for the alumni (graduates from HG)...Then we spent time praying in tongue loudly for our friends ^_^
Today, pastor shared about the second commandment that is you shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below (Exodus 20:4)..Pastor also talk about (Exodus 20:5) Yous shall not bow down to them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generation to those who love me and keep my commandments.
Well...forming an idol is not exactly forming a statue to worship ...it can be our games, success, money, gf or bf...anything can be our God. Of course playing games, dreaming of success, earning money and having a bf or gf is not wrong...but sometimes, we tend to put these things first than God...and God hates it...In everything we do, we have to put God first. If we dream of money or playing games, ect, everyday, we are actually forming an idol and we're worshipping them.
Many Christians has fallen into these sins because they are unaware. We need to ask for forgiveness from God. The end times are coming, we cant play with sins anymore. We have to be more aware of these sins...
After the sermon...we form many groups...2 person in a group, sharing our sins and seek for forgiveness from God. Then pastor prayed for us then we closed our meeting...everything went smoothly today..thank God
